Bitcoin briefly rises to a 10-week high as cautious optimism over an Iran war peace deal improves risk appetite although the situation remains uncertain. President Trump said "we're very close to making a deal" with Iran and they might hold another round of discussions this weekend. Meanwhile, a newly struck cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon appeared to be holding which is key to any peace deal. "The broader macro backdrop remains supportive [for cryptocurrencies], with easing geopolitical tensions and steady equity markets helping stabilize sentiment, but flows indicate investors are not fully committing to the rally," Saxo Bank analysts say in a note.
